The engine in the Sagaris was made in house. They have used Rover V8s, Cosworth engines, and I think they’ve had a 4 cylinder car. But as far as I know they have never used a BMW motor.

Their Wheeler-era straight sixes were designed in-house but before that they sourced engines from all kinds of companies:

No, they actually built their own inline sixes. I believe they were designed by a certain Al Melling.
